Terms of Service
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Quiet Zone is a free browser-based tool for reading and creating QR codes. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. What Quiet Zone does
Quiet Zone lets you scan QR codes using your device's camera or an uploaded image, and generate new QR codes from text or links you enter. There is no account, sign-up, or login. All scanning and generating happens locally in your browser — see our Privacy Policy for details.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Quiet Zone to generate or distribute QR codes that link to illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or material intended to deceive or harm others. You're responsible for the content of any code you create and for how you use codes you scan.
3. Third-party content
A QR code can point to any destination its creator chose. Quiet Zone has no relationship with, and does not review, verify, or endorse, the destinations of codes you scan or the content behind links you generate. Use your own judgment before visiting a scanned link, especially ones from codes you find in public places.
4. No warranty
Quiet Zone is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that scanning or generating will always work correctly, that a code will always be readable, or that the service will be available without interruption.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quiet Zone and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site, including damages resulting from content linked by a scanned or generated code.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
